The Senior Center offers the opportunity for social interaction with other older adults, promoting conversation, camaraderie, support and friendship. A well balanced meal enhances the daily nutrition intake and nutritional status of seniors. In addition to meals and socialization, the senior center provides health screenings, nutrition and health education, nutrition counseling, access to senior services and information on topics of interest to seniors. Exercises and recreational activities are available and include interactive Wii games, cards, billiards, shuffleboard, holiday parties, evening events with entertainment and dancing, and outdoor games and picnics.
